good looking. hard working.

Juicy is the board for when there’s actual chopping to do. Generously sized with a built-in juice groove, it keeps the messy stuff on the board while still looking very Sasni on the bench.

Made from 100% recycled plastic, every Juicy has its own unique colour and pattern. At a solid 2kg, it feels substantial, stable and made to be used every day, then left out when you’re done.

more prep space. less mess. much better looking.

Designed in our Melbourne studio.

description Plus

Meet Juicy, our recycled chopping board designed for bigger everyday prep without the boring bit.

At 40 x 28 x 2cm, the generous surface gives you plenty of room to chop, slice and prep, while the built-in juice groove helps catch liquids before they make their way onto your bench.

At 2kg, Juicy has a solid, weighty feel that helps keep it stable while you work. It’s made from 100% recycled HDPE, giving plastic waste another life as something durable, useful and good enough to leave out.

The recycled material creates Sasni’s signature speckled finish, meaning colour placement and pattern vary naturally from board to board. No two are exactly the same.

 faqs Plus
How do I care for my Sasni board?

Keep it away from direct heat and flames, don’t microwave it and avoid placing hot pots or pans directly on the surface. For cleaning, hand wash or use a dishwasher cycle under 60°C.

Can I use it as a serving board?

Absolutely. Sasni boards are designed for both prep and serving, so they can go straight from chopping on the bench to serving at the table.

Why does my board look slightly different from the photos?

That’s part of what makes it yours. Because Sasni boards are made using recycled material, the placement of colour and speckles varies naturally from board to board. No two are exactly alike.

What is the board made from?

Our boards are made from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), giving plastic waste another life as a solid, durable everyday kitchen product.

Will my Sasni chopping board scratch?

Yes. Like any chopping board, knife marks and scratches will naturally develop with use. This is completely normal and part of a board that’s made to be used, chopped on and enjoyed.

Can I put my Sasni chopping board in the dishwasher?

Yes. Sasni boards can be washed in the dishwasher on cycles under 60°C. You can also hand wash with warm, soapy water.

Is the Sasni chopping board food safe?

Yes. Our boards are tested after production to ensure they are 100% food safe and
BPA-free. They’re made from recycled HDPE plastic, a durable material commonly
used in food-safe applications.
